Montego having second thoughts contacts his lifelong mentor, an ex-homicide detective now a successful criminal attorney, to defend Brenda pro bono. Montego’s ex-patrol partner, a new Deputy District Attorney, is assigned to prosecute. It’s his first homicide case.
